6:00 – 6:30 p.m. DNA board meeting, open to the public
6:30 - 7:30 p.m. Central Library architecture tour
You are invited to attend the monthly DNA board meeting then take a tour of the Central Library. Once the home of The First National Bank, the $450,000 building was designed by local architects Wilder and Wright in 1906 when the bank outgrew its former home in the Heist building.
The library boasts extensive marble interiors, a president's office finished in Camodillo mahogany from Peru, and three huge exterior columns that were put in place with a steam engine amid a cheering crowd.
