Downtown Community Improvement District (CID) - Also known as Ambassadors, “Yellow Jackets,” and “Bumblebees.” They refer individuals to social services and report urgent issues to law enforcement. The Downtown & River Market CIDs operate Monday through Friday from 6:30am-10pm as well as Saturday and Sunday from 8:30am-10pm. For service, please call 816-421-5243.

  • River Market Melodies: First Thursdays from 5:00–7:30 PM, May through October at River Market Park (3rd & Main).
